    Hi,

So I bought a Wink Relay on sale from amazon, but it only lasted me 2 months! I’m now looking for a more reliable replacement to make my bedroom light a smart switch/relay again. Any suggestions?

I highly recommend the GE Z-Wave. Arguably the best smart switch on the market, especially for the price.

There are a couple of options. Firstly when these things fail it’s usually just the relay that sticks.

If you can still talk to the unit from your controller and you have some electrical skills (soldering iron) you could just change out the relay with a replacement from Maplin.

Another option would be to use the Sonoff basic switch without the plastic case.

I know these aren’t genuine alternatives so to speak but they could offer a cheaper solution.
