  1. Works with Samsung Smartthings (mixed with Alexa) straight out of the box, picked up correctly and away you go. Currently the only smart GU10s for ST that I’ve found. That said, I’m finding Lightify bulbs unreliable. More frequently that I’d like, they be come “unavailable” or “not responding” in ST and need resetting…a simple flick of the light switch sorts it, not the end of the world, just a pain when you finally slip in to bed and the bathroom light decides that NOW is the time to flake out!

  2. I bought these to pair with my Hue hub. Bit of a pain but you can pair them and once connected they work okay apart from a few niggling issues (mainly point 1):1: When set to cool white or any blueish colour, they buzz. Seems to get louder the longer they are left on to the point that they would drive you insane.2: They don’t respond 100% of the time, but I am paired to a Hue hub so that may have an impact.3: Colours are nowhere near as good as my Hue bulbs. Green is particularly bad being hardly green at all.

  3. Osram Lightify Smart Home LED Light Bulb E27, Warm White to Day Light, RGBW Colour Changing Works with Alexa, 10 W, 60 W Dimmable, [Energy Class A+]These are really excellent bulbs and were purchased to work in conjunction with the latest Amazon Echo Plus which has a built in hub. It’s really straight forward to activate the Lightify ‘skill’ in the Alexa App and to add a command such as ‘Lounge Lights’ and then you can simply speak the command to switch on, off, or set a dim level for these bulbs. Also, you can ask Alexa to set bulbs to red, white, warm white etc – absolutely brilliant AND without the need to purchase the Osram hub as the Echo Plus (if you have one) has it built in.Absolutely thrilled with these and the way they interact and just work with Amazon Alexa.
